Clos Tue-Boeuf ’08 Cheverny La Gravotte Pinot Noir

The more I drink small producer, Vin Naturel, off the grid French wines the broader my palate gets and the less I think I understand. This Vin Naturel movement is shaking up the game by offering quality with a new definition of taste and value.

This Pinot Noir from the Loire Valley by winemarker Puzelat is a very pure, red-fruited Pinot. It’s bright, earthy, light but concentrated with a citrus tanginess to it. It’s 100% Pinot Noir from old, old vines, with very little sulfites added. A wine of the future in my opinon.

I’m amazed at the dramatic movement towards Living Wines. My intellect and my palate applaud this equally.

And oh yes, this great bottle of French Pinot costs less than $25.

I agree, it's one of my favorite wines this year. I own a eco-friendly wine store that only sells natural, organic and biodynamic wines. The Clos du Tue-Boeuf, “La Gravotte” is an amazing example of how intricate and real a “Natural” wine can taste.

    April…thanks for the comment.

Please provide the links to your store and yourself so the community and myself can check out your store and the wines you carry.
